The Northern California Skippers Club hosts its annual awards dinner each Spring, celebrating members’ achievements and award-winning catches from the previous year.

Annual Awards:

• 1^st and 2^nd place for the following species:
  • Striped Bass
  • Sturgeon
  • Halibut
  • Salmon
  • Ling Cod
  • Rock Fish (New as of 2026)
  • Trout (New as of 2025)

• Selected by Awards Committee:
  • Fisherman of the Year
  • Captain’s Award, for outstanding member

• Awards for extraordinary catches
• Youth Awards
• Patches given for “trophy fish”
