  • Rick started filling out the Special Event Application for the State Parks of California, but they do not allow for special events on weekends. Therefore, our usual location is not going to be an option this year.
  • Potential new location: Dumbarton Quarry Campground in Newark. This has close parking, bathrooms, and a playground.

  • After reviewing the Cattlemen’s catering menu (https://www.cattlemens.com/restaurants/livermore/banquets/), we see that the price has gone up about $12 per meal, before taxes and service charge. There are 3 price points to choose from: $49, 59, $69. Last year’s meal options (that were $57) have been moved to the $69 package. After taxes, it would be about $91 per person.
  • The consensus agreed to still move forward with the price. More information and menu options will be available by the next meeting.
  • In the meantime, Cattlemen’s confirmed that are available Sunday March 29. We will work on submitting a deposit in order to secure the date.

  • Tentative date = July 11.
  • Rick spoke with the State Parks of California, and is still working on a potential permit.
  • Since the price of beef has gone up year after year, we discussed options that could help with the cost (raising dues, changing the food, changing the location…). After a lengthy discussion, a motion was made to no longer have free guests. However, members will still be free (price included in club dues). All approved.

    • $10.00 fine – We’d like to continue to promote safety, but not police members
